Hello!
My name is Slavik and I represent Public organization "Karpaty", which organizes an international tournament for football supporters "Eurofan" in Lviv, Ukraine.
This year on 9-11 May 2008 we organized second "Eurofan" tournament but fan teams representing different European countries.
Participating fan-teams represented Russian FC "Zenit" Sankt-Petersburg, Polish FC "Wisla" Krakow, Ukrainian clubs ("Karpaty" Lviv, "Dynamo" Kiev, "Dnipro" Dnepropetrovsk) and National fan team from Wales.
Next year in June (when usually there is an interval in all National football championships) we are planning to carry out the international EUROFAN tournament again.
Tournament rules: 11-a-side teams, match consists of 2 times (each lasts 35 minutes). During games we arrange live comments and music (speakers are placed around the ground, DJ and commentator work with microphones). Number of substitutes is not limited. We arrange accomodation for 15 people for 2 nights in a comfortable hotel (half board) - it is on us. Also we arrange and pay for an excursion tour around our city with an English interpreter. After the tournament we organize a celebration party with booze, meals and prizes and mementos for all tournament guests (everything is on us). Currently we are negotiating with a large beer-making company, which will organize rock festival in Lviv, to take part in our project. So hopefully all participating fan teams will also have free pass cards for the rock festival (probably well-known bands like Offspring or Travis will take part in that rock festival, but the final list of participants will be ready by November 2008).
Depending on final quantity of participants we will prepare tournament format and try to offer best possible conditions for accommodation and entertaining program.
As you may know, Lviv will be one of host cities for Euro-2012. Our city is regarded the cultural capital of Ukraine. It has quite interesting old architecture and resembles Vienna or Krakow.
Our organization would like to invite an amateur football team consisting of supporters of Celtic FC from Glasgow to take part in our tournament. Maybe you could help us with it or provide us with some contacts?
Also I attach a picture taken during the "Eurofan-2008" along with our official logo and an advertising bill.

A new book published by Martin Greig is now on sale.
The Zen Of Naka, Journey of a Japanese Genius.
It follows Naka's career to date and has a particularly enjoyable account of his magnificent free kick against Man Utd at Celtic Park " the shot which was heard around the world".A worthwhile addition to your collection
