 CSA Annual Memorial Mass
The Annual Memorial Mass for deceased Celtic supporters and friends takes place at 12-30pm on November 8th in St Michael's RC Church(Parkhead Cross) prior to our home game versus Motherwell. The Mass is even more poignant this year with the sad passing of our honorary President Tommy Burns,Phil O'Donnell,John Cushley and ex Celtic Director Jimmy Farrell. We would like to cordially invite all Celtic supporters to join with representatives of Celtic Football Club to pay our respects to those who have gone before us,but for them showing us the way, where would we be now???. May They Rest in Peace Joe O'Rourke, General Secretary

 CSA STATEMENT
It has come to our attention that a meeting is being held on Saturday October 25th in St Patrick's Hall in the Garngad, this meeting is being called to form a pressure group to tackle the single issue of ticket allocation for away games in Europe, the Celtic Supporters Association have not been formally invited to this meeting,so we will not be in attendance. The Supporters Association have been actively engaged in negotiations with Celtic FC over this issue for a number of years now,up to, and including the allocation for the game at Old Trafford, but that is only one of the issue's facing Celtic Supporters, there are many issue's that need to be addressed on an ongoing basis,we as an Association feel that we have the proper infrastructure and the opportunity to continue to tackle these issue's,we would like to reassure our members of our continued commitment to get the best deal possible for our members, and indeed for all Celtic Supporters, this we hope to achieve been continuing to meet with the Chief Executive Peter Lawwell, and to put forward our case in the strongest possible terms, this is the way we have done it for over sixty years,we don't profess to have all the answers, and we are prepared to listen to any idea's,both from inside the Association and outside, anyone who feels that they would like to meet with us to have a discussion, only need to ask,we would be happy to accomodate them.

Kilmarnock V Celtic by Tommy Dornan
I should confine comment to the solid and entertaining performance of the team on Sunday, particularly the early contender for goal of the season by big Sammi, the assured control of Crosas, powerful running of Brown and authoritative play of Caldwell. But I won’t ! The headline story about the Rev Integrity and his choice of “hymns“ and red hand gloves was unquestionably designed to put the pressure on either the ref or more likely us, the fans. This story was held for months for maximum impact and I suspect hopefully to cause more controversy. I thought journalists reported the news, not manufactured it ? Regardless of later comment by the Killie keeper Combes, Naka was definitely fouled for the second penalty and then blatently assaulted by Wright. An issue obviously deemed too controversial for the TV to replay at length. It appeared so fleetingly on screen one might think we had imagined it.The Rev saw no need to produce a card for either the blatant pull or a right-hander to the back of Naka’s head. Funnily enough Caldwell merited a red for throwing himself, eyes closed, at the ball and making contact with his arm. If deliberate, a penalty and at most a yellow card were sufficient punishment surely given what had gone before.

celtic fc calls for continued positive support
From Junglebhoys website CELTIC take on Kilmarnock this Sunday at Rugby Park and ahead of the game, the Club has called on fans to continue their positive support of the team. A statement from the Club reads: “We are proud to have such a magnificent support, renowned across Europe for excellent behaviour and clearly, it is important that we preserve this great reputation and maintain these high standards. “We recognise that there have been reports of elements of inappropriate behaviour at last weekend’s match at Fir Park, and clearly this is something which the Club opposes completely. “We have worked tirelessly to encourage positive support for the Club, we have taken action against individuals in the past when offensive behaviour has arisen and we will continue to treat this matter very seriously. “At this weekend’s match against Kilmarnock, we would once again urge any small minority not to tarnish the great name of Celtic Football Club and the great reputation of the vast majority of our fans. “Let’s keep our high standards which set us apart - get behind the team with positive support as we go for four league titles in a row and continued
